They had begun to set the circuit up, so I took photographs through the windows of the car and then returned at night and managed to get a few laps in in the diesel Mercedes. Of course all the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and Bentleys kept getting in the way.

I got the Automobile Club de Monaco, the start-finish straight, the pits, Virage Sainte Devote(1), the climb up Beau Rivage, the entry to Casino(3) or Virage Massinet and a couple of Ferraris parked in Casino Square, the approach to the Grand Hotel hairpin(5), the entrance to the tunnel at Virage du Portier(6), the rundown to the Nouvelle Chicane, the piscine or swimming pool and Rascasse (the final corner).
